81. "When I got to Pacific View, someone told me to look at my program as a time out from my previous life. While taking this time out, figure out why the things in your past life didn't work. Once you've figured it out DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!. Once I truly understood what this meant, I came to the conclusion that if I had to look back on my life I would have done it all over again because without it, I wouldn't be the person I am today."
82. "I marvel at the wonder of the Program. It
so well made because it is grounded in what works on every level. I've seen so many young people come in kicking and screaming with me holding them to protect them from thenselves and then I've handed those same children over to their parents months later and watched families, once broken, made whole again. You can't help but feel great about being a part of that."
83. "I once lay on my bed, tears rolling down my face. The sense of despair so deep and painful, that I would not have minded if my heart had stopped beating at that moment. Today at Spring Creek Lodge my pity has turned to delight, my grimace to a smile, and despair to overwhelming joy. Whoever imagined that a child, who just a short time before was on the road to destruction would be taking steps to make his Ivy League aspirations a reality? Not me. Because if I hadn't I would just be another 'has been, washed out stoner' who did nothing except play guitar and smoke pot all day. Now I am a caring, loving, talented young man who loves music, paintball and actually has a direction in life. I am also ahead of my class in school and will most likely graduate before my class. This place has helped me mature and grow so much I can't even believe it."
85. "I am happy to say that our daughter is doing awesome. She certainly has had her struggles, but she is now setting goals for herself, consistently meeting or exceeding those goals. Her attitude has taken a 180 degree turn. Her communication skills are exceptionally good. The academics did not prove to be a problem for her. At this point she is ahead of where she would be if she were at home. Her GPA went from a 1.4 to a 3.5. She reports that she feels special, that she believes in herself, and that she is the happiest she has been in a long, long time."

We all carfully watch everything that happens at Casa all the time. We have also witnessed similar positive results among numerous other families with children in the WWASP program at Casa"

"At Casa, our son has been able to continue with school in an environment that demands at least a B grade to pass any class; he is now approximately 3 months ahead of grade level, and looking forward to re-entering the California school system with an excellent academic backgound and sound study skills.
